Jaden Smith is surely an “icon living” with the launch of his latest venture: a vegan food truck designed to provide free meals to the homeless.

Sunday, on the eve of his 21st birthday, the rapper shared on social media that he was executing a trial run for his “I Love You Restaurant” concept. Taking to the streets of Skid Row, an area in Los Angeles with the largest homeless population in the U.S., Smith’s pop-up food truck was officially open for business.

However, this is only the beginning for the budding philanthropist.

“The @ILoveYouRestaurant Is A Movement That Is All About Giving People What They Deserve, Healthy, Vegan Food For Free,” Smith captioned a set of photos from Sunday’s successful launch. “Keep A Look Out Because This Is The First Of Many.”

This initiative follows the rapper’s efforts to provide aid to the residents of Flint, Michigan amidst their five-year-long water crisis. As co-founder of JUST Water, Smith partnered with First Trinity Missionary Baptist Church to deploy a mobile water treatment system.

His charitable efforts aside, Smith recently gifted fans with his sophomore effort ERYS, led by the single “Again.” The 21-year-old is also set to hit the road this fall with Tyler, the Creator as part of the IGOR Tour.
