J. Cole Reflects On Dreamville’s 10-Day Rap Camp
Back in January you may have seen golden Dreamville invites circulating on social media, the super exclusive tickets were for Dreamville’s 10-Day Rap Camp and many of Hip-Hop’s heavyweights made an appearance.
J. Cole’s vision for the rap camp was to show the world that Dreamville isn’t anti-social, Cole says that Bas, Cozz, and J.I.D are people persons, “but because I’m so secluded then it’s like Dreamville is so secluded. It’s not like that,” says Cole.

Rick Ross, T.I., Vince Staples, 6lack, and Wale all made appearances at Dreamville’s Rap Camp, and hits were made, including one from NBA legend, Chris Bosh.
“He had a beat and T-Minus was like, ‘Oh, this is actually hard! Let me get those drums, add a little music to it.’ Cole and Bosh spent two days learning from each other and playing beats.
