Beyonce Hosted A Private Coachella Party For Her New Album

Beyonce‘s new live album Homecoming is the gift that keeps on giving. Following the release of the album and the accompanying Netflix documentary, we’re now learning that Bey managed to find time to host a private event celebrating the project’s arrival.

During the first weekend of Coachella, the Grammy-winning powerhouse held an invite-only listening session, fittingly titled Homecoming Weekend, in which she brought to life the vibrant culture of historically black colleges.

Bey’s guest list included select members of the Grambling State University’s band and dancers, who performed during her private set, as well as celebrities such as Travis Scott, Karrueche Tran, and Winne Harlow.

Grambling State’s dance coach Teshia Linclon dished on the experience and shared a few photos from the memorable night via social media.

Hey ODC!! I say this all the time you NEVER KNOW WHO’S WATCHING YOU!!I had the HONOR and PRIVELEDGE to meet,speak with and dance with the Queen Bee @beyonce and I am still Shook! She dropped gems of knowledge and appreciation. I went up to her and said I have a gift for you from me and my girls. She looked and started jumping up and down and gave a hug and kiss on the cheek. We have our own style she Loves it!! She LOVED the GramChella look!! I said when I saw it I knew I had to do it! She said “You did that! (High Five) it was done so well and the BEST she has seen to date! She has the picture. S/O to @photoman062 look what we did!!! I gave her a G beret! She gave me the Biggest hug and said and I quote “You are Amazing and Keep doing your thing Don’t Stop!! We started dancing and I had to show her how we get down in Da BOOT. 318/337/504 Stand Up!!!!😜😜😜😜 A small interaction made a Huge impact on my life. It was an experience of a lifetime!! Beyonce also shared a few snapshots from the night on her dedicated website. In the pics, she’s notably sporting a few yet-to-be-released items from her forthcoming athleisure collab with Adidas.

Meanwhile, the live Homecoming release has debuted at #7 on the Billboard album chart, after only two days of tracked sales. It could hit #1 next week.
