Beyonce Hosted A Private Coachella Party For Her New Album
Beyonce‘s new live album Homecoming is the gift that keeps on giving. Following the release of the album and the accompanying Netflix documentary, we’re now learning that Bey managed to find time to host a private event celebrating the project’s arrival.
During the first weekend of Coachella, the Grammy-winning powerhouse held an invite-only listening session, fittingly titled Homecoming Weekend, in which she brought to life the vibrant culture of historically black colleges.
Bey’s guest list included select members of the Grambling State University’s band and dancers, who performed during her private set, as well as celebrities such as Travis Scott, Karrueche Tran, and Winne Harlow.
Grambling State’s dance coach Teshia Linclon dished on the experience and shared a few photos from the memorable night via social media.
Lincoln began a lengthy Instagram post highlighting the surreal encounter:
Beyonce also shared a few snapshots from the night on her dedicated website. In the pics, she’s notably sporting a few yet-to-be-released items from her forthcoming athleisure collab with Adidas.
Meanwhile, the live Homecoming release has debuted at #7 on the Billboard album chart, after only two days of tracked sales. It could hit #1 next week.
