H.E.R. is raising a glass to her youth with the new coming-of-age single and video “21.”

In the accompanying clip, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter reflects on the whirlwind year she experienced as a 21-year-old. In the montage of footage, H.E.R. is seen performing before thousands of fans at a concert, celebrating her accomplishments with friends and getting glam en route to a photo shoot.

“I wrote this song when I turned 21. It was one of the best years of my life!,” H.E.R. said of the record in a press release. “I’m experiencing all the things I prayed for as a kid and more.:

She adds: “The scary part is, it’s just the beginning.”

Some of the highlights from this past year include the singer earning two Grammy Awards for Best R&B Album and Best R&B Performance. In addition, H.E.R. also snagged two Soul Train Music Awards, a BET Award and scored a number one album on Billboard‘s Top R&B Albums chart with her most recent effort I Used To Know Her.

“21” follows the previously released track “Racks,” featuring YBN Cordae.
