Portland, Ore – It didn’t take long for anti-gun groups to organize demonstrations and rallies following this past weekends mass shootings. The latest was held Tuesday outside Oregon Congressman Earl Blumenauer’s office in Portland.
Blumenauer called for Senate majority Leader Mitch McConnell to allow a Senate vote on House passed background check gun legislation.
The Congressman says McConnell is already losing support in his home state of Kentucky.
Activists with Moms Demand Action and Indivisible Oregon were also on hand for the rally.
