Flooding Forces Evacuation At McMenamins Edgefield
Troutdale, Ore. – Nearly 200 people were evacuated from McMenamins Edgefield in Troutdale lat night. The sprinklers went off flooding three floors of the historic building last night. Officials say there wasn’t a fire, one of the pipes broke. The flooding caused quite a bit of damage. Gresham Firefighters eventually stopped the leak after they shut off the power. It’s not clear what caused the sprinkler line to break, but we can tell you the hotel was shut down overnight.
