WE Got Sole Shoe Drive

Come join DJ Bonics and Sprint Saturday from 11 to 2 for our We Got Sole winter shoe and boot drive for the kids at Boys and Girls Clubs of Portland. During the rainy months these kids have been coming into school and at the Boys and Girls club with soaked feet. We all know how funky the weather has been and imagine being a kid showing up to class with wet socks and cold feet. Not cool. You can help by bringing in new or gently used, warm, and sturdy winter shoes or boots. You don’t have to pay much to make a kids life so much better.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland, WE 96.3 and Sprint have a goal to collect 500 pairs of boots and sturdy shoes for youth ages 6-12 to ensure that they’re properly equipped for the winter weather.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland currently serves thousands of youth daily through community-based programs and collaborations. They operate five Club facilities within Multnomah, Washington, and Clark Counties, hosts school-site programs in partnership with the Parkrose and Reynolds School Districts, and recently opened a new Club program in Oak Grove.
