What does Drake have in common with The Beatles?  The Toronto rapper’s now tied the Fab Four for the second-most top-ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

With Drake’s Chris Brown collabo, “No Guidance,” debuting this week in the #9 spot, Drake has scored 34 top-ten entries on the Hot 100.  That ties The Beatles for the second-most top-ten Hot 100 entries in the chart’s 60-year history.

“No Guidance” is also Drake’s 19th top-ten debut on the Hot 100, and his very impressive 96th top 40 Hot 100 entry.

Who’s got the most top-10 Hot 100 entries?  That distinction goes to Madonna, who’s got 38.  But at the rate Drake’s cranking out the hits, there’s plenty of time to catch up with her — Drake’s scored his 34 top-10 hits in fewer than 10 years, while Madonna notched her first Hot 100 top-ten hit 35 years ago, with 1984’s “Borderline,” according to Billboard.

Also according to Billboard, it took The Beatles six years, four months and one week to score 32 top-ten hits as a band, from 1964 to their 1970 break-up.  The other two came in 1976 and 1995.
