Drake may be on the road for his Assassination Vacation tour, but that hasn’t halted the Toronto lyricist from prepping his next album.

During a recent tour stop in London, Drizzy hinted at the potential of new work being on the horizon.

“I think what Imma [sic] do after this is Imma [sic] go home and Imma make a new album, so I can come back to London next year and we can do this again,” the “God’s Plan” rapper told a roaring crowd of fans at the 02 arena.

He added: “I kinda actually started last night to be honest with you.”

Upon its release last June, the rapper’s most recent effort Scorpion received lukewarm critical reception — despite becoming his fifth straight record to top the Billboard 200. The project featured several smash hits including “”In My Feelings” and “Nice For What.”

The news of Drake’s sixth studio album being underway arrives on the heels of him and Future playfully suggesting that a sequel to their joint project, What A Time To Be Alive, has already been “cooked” up.
