Drake now has “more slaps than The Beatles,” and in celebration of surpassing the iconic band’s Billboard Hot 100 record, the rapper has gotten some new ink.

Over the weekend, photos surfaced online of Drizzy’s latest tribute piece: The Toronto lyricist has added his own twist to The Beatles’ landmark Abbey Road album cover.

Taking some creative liberty, the tattoo on Drake’s forearm shows him standing in front of the four Beatles and turning to wave at them as they walk across the Abbey Road street crossing depicted on their album cover.

While the “God’s Plan” chart-topper has yet to confirm or deny if his new ink is in reference to besting the band, one things for certain: Beatles fans are not at all amused by the tattoo. As images of the illustration began to make rounds on social media, Drake was met with fierce criticism.

Many fans feel there’s no actual comparison since Drake’s accomplishments are largely due to streaming, a technology that didn’t exist back in the Beatles’ day.

As previously reported, the OVO head honcho has broken a number of chart records set by the British rock legends.

Last year, he placed seven songs in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, breaking the Beatles’ previous record of five songs. Three months later, he broke the record for most Hot 100 Top 10 songs in a single year, passing the Beatles’ 1964 achievement.
