DJ Khaled is gearing up for a full-blown summer takeover with the arrival of his twelfth studio album, Father of Asahd.

Friday, the seasoned producer took to social media to reveal that the highly-anticipated project would arrive on May 17, via We The Best Music Group/Epic Records. Along with the announcement, Khaled also shared a short clip of himself in the studio with Diddy, who praised him for creating his “best body of work.”

Khaled tweeted:

Named after his two-year-old son and the album’s co-producer, “Father of Asahd” stands primed to be Khaled’s most powerful moment yet.

While details regarding a tracklist or guest features are scarce at the moment, the Grammy-nominated artist is expected to drop more hints soon as well as the lead single off the album.
