Portland, Ore. – Police are on scene of a crash in Southeast Portland at 112th and Division. Division is closed between 111th and 117th and is expected to reopen sometime in the next few hours. Police say two cars were involved and one driver was rushed to the hospital with life threatening injuries.  KXL Reporter Annette Newell is on her way to the scene right now. The Portland Police Bureau’s Major Crash Team (MCT) is responding to the area of Southeast Division Street and Southeast 112th Avenue to assist with a traffic crash investigation.

Southeast Division Street is closed in both directions from Southeast 111th Avenue to 117th Avenues and is expected to remain so for 4-6 hours. 112th Avenue is closed one block North and South of Division Street.

The crash involved two vehicles. One driver was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be life-threatening injuries. The other driver remained at the scene. No additional information is available at this time.

The PIO is not responding to the scene.
