Yung Miami, Who’s Pregnant With Her Second Child, Was Shot At
City Girls member Yung Miami, who’s pregnant with her second child, was shot at Monday night while sitting in a car outside a Florida recording studio, reports The Miami Herald.
In a video she posted on Instagram, Yung Miami’s seen telling police, “I don’t know where they came from.” The rapper was in her Mercedes SUV at the studio in Florida’s North Miami-Dade County, when she heard shots ring out and ran. She wasn’t hurt, but the car was damaged by gunfire.

The paper speculates that there’s a connection between the shooting and a track recorded by Kodak Black, who’s currently in jail in Miami. Black, who is Yung Miami’s ex-boyfriend, raps on the track, “I bought Yung Miami a ring, she bought an 808 baby/ When I see her, I’ma hit that b***h in her stomach.”
According to the paper, Black was referring to Southside of 808 Mafia, the father of Yung Miami’s baby. The police haven’t mentioned the connection, however.
Meanwhile, it’s not clear when Yung Miami’s partner in City Girls, J.T., is getting out of prison, where she’s been since July 2018, on credit card fraud charges. At the end of June this year, their manager said she’d be free in less than 90 days.
