City Girls’ JT Released From Prison. JT of City Girls was recently released from jail after serving over a year for credit card fraud charges. . She was initially slated for release in March 2020, but got out early on Oct. 8. Immediately following her release, JT announced her new track, “JT First Day Out.”. According to a post on Instagram, she reportedly recorded and produced the song that same day, saying “this really my first day out I ain’t wait a day!!!!”. In the track, JT raps about her time in jail, with lines such as “left prison with a pimple, not a scratch … point, blank, period, won’t see me back.”. She also references the rumors spread during her incarceration, saying “the blogs, they made me mad, they made me motivated.”.

A new City Girl album is believed to be in the works, as hinted at by Quality Control founder Pierre Thomas in August. When JT come home she going to the halfway house, but the great thing about the halfway house is they let you go on work release, so soon as she’s out she’s gonna be locked in the studio working, Pierre Thomas, via ‘Complex’. The duo’s previous album, ‘Girl Code,’ was released in November 2018, and debuted on the ‘Billboard’ 200 at number 63.
