Khalid Helps Light Up ‘Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular’

Khalid was among one of the many stars creating some Independence Day fireworks of their own on Thursday night’s Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular on NBC.

Ciara, who co-hosted the show, along with World of Dance‘s Derek Hough, performing live from New York City’s Pier 17 Seaport District, opened the show with “1, 2 Step,” her 2004 Missy Elliott collabo off of Ciara’s album, Goodies. She returned with a medley of “Thinkin Bout You” and “Level Up,” from her latest effort, Beauty Marks.

Khalid, appearing from Portland, Oregon’s Moda Center, where he’s currently touring in support of his Free Spirit album, performed a couple of tunes from the collection: “Talk” and “Outta My Head.”

The lineup for the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular also included country superstars Luke Bryan, Maren Morris and Brad Paisley.
