Chris Brown is hitting the road this summer in support of his forthcoming album, Indigo, as well as a good cause.
Kicking off on August 20, the global star will be trekking across North America on his INDIGOAT Tour along with a handful of his close friends and frequent collaborators, including Tory Lanez, Ty Dolla $ign, Joyner Lucas and Yella Beezy.
The tour is also slated to make a stop in Breezy’s birthplace of Virginia on September 8. A portion of the ticket sales from that concert will be donated to the Virginia Beach Tragedy Fund, ABC 8 News has learned.
Per the outlet, fifty cents from each ticket sold will go towards the United Way’s Virginia Beach fund, which is helping the victims and their families.
As previously reported, late last month in Virginia Beach, a disgruntled city employee opened fire at the city’s Municipal Center. The harrowing incident left 12 people dead and five others seriously wounded.
Tickets for the INDIGOAT Tour are scheduled to go on sale to the general public beginning Friday at noon local time via LiveNation.com.
