Cardi B, Snoop Dogg and More Call For Justice In Death of George Floyd

Celebrities took to social media following the death of George Floyd to share their outrage over his killing and the continued police brutality that plagues the country.
Snoop Dogg posted a picture of a kneeling Colin Kapernick beside a photo of the police officer who held his knee on the neck of Floyd as he pleaded that he couldn’t breathe. “No justice just us,” Snoop captioned the photo.

“Enough is enough! What will it take? A civil war? A new president? Violent riots? It’s tired! I’m tired! The country is tired! You don’t put fear in people when you do this you just show how coward YOU ARE! And how America is really not the land of the free! [sic],” Cardi B posted alongside a photo of Floyd.
Star Wars actor, John Boyega shared Floyd’s pleas for his life along with a caption that included a call for murder charges against the officers involved. Other celebrities calling for action included “When They See Us” director, Ava Duvernay, and Justin Beiber, who posted the video of George Floyd’s killing with the plea, “THIS MUST STOP.” Viola Davis, Madonna, and Harriet Star Cynthia Erivo are also calling for justice for George Floyd.
