Bryson Tiller took to his Instagram to share a very personal side of himself.

He talked about the death of his grandmother and their “love-hate” relationship. His grandmother took care of him when his mother died when he was young. She wrote him a letter four years ago that he never read.

Now he wishes he had read it sooner so they could have talked about the letter.

In it, she apologizes for being hard on him and she explains how hard things were after his mom died.

He recalled how happy she was when he finally bought her a new car; a car she had asked for over a year.

He ended the post by saying, I love you and I forgive you for everything and I’m sorry I never got to tell you.
