Big Sean Opens Up About His Heart Condition on Upcoming Song “Lucky Me”

Detroit Rapper Big Sean has a heart to heart with fans on a song from his forthcoming album, Don Life.
Big Sean revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, that his song Lucky Me, is about a heart condition he was diagnosed with in his late teens.
In the song Lucky Me, the lyrics say, Lucky me, I was diagnosed with a heart disease at 19.
Doctors said they had to cut it open, put a pacemaker on it to put it back on beat. Til my mother took me to holistic doctors, and they prescribed me magnesium for two weeks. Went back to the regular doctors and they said, Huh? damn, looks like we don’t need to proceed.
Big Sean says it’s time to open up and get personal about the things that helped him rediscover who he is.
