Big Sean has returned with his first solo release of 2019, titled “Overtime.”

The Hit-Boy production finds the Detroit rapper rattling off a flurry of bars, as he provides fans with a few life updates since 2017’s I Decided — notably addressing his hiatus from music as well as his break-up with Jhene Aiko.

“I miss this feeling so much! Feels good to be back!,” Sean shared with fans on Instagram following the record’s release.

While “Overtime” accounts for the rapper’s first official single in nearly two years, he was tapped for two guest features on DJ Khaled‘s Father of Asahd album earlier this summer.

Prior to that, in December 2017, Sean also graciously gifted fans with Double or Nothing, a collaborative album with super-producer Metro Boomin.

Back in March, Sean revealed that he had been making his mental health more of a priority, in hopes of finding “clarity” ahead of his next record. This followed him postponing a headlining North America tour in order to remain focused on making new music in the studio.
