This is from my mental health panel we did in the city, and it was one of the most important things I’ve ever done/ said in my life!

Big Sean is giving back to the city that made him.

The rapper has donated a $100k recording studio to the Detroit Boys & Girls Club.

Today was one of the most bossed up things we ever did! Threw a block party w/ free rides, food n everything BUT also had rooms where we introduced people n kids to yoga, self healing, computer coding/engineering, Music programs n lighting and more right in our hood! #DONweekend pic.twitter.com/LQDaxYXVZf

It’s equipped with headphones, workstations and a mini-performance stage.

Big Sean says he wants to keep up the musical legacy of the city.

Went and threw the most legendary Block Party! Free hair braiding n cuts, rides, food, etc. but what’s fire is we introduced kids/grown folk to self healing, coding, music/engineering lighting programs, yoga, and more. right in my old neighborhood where they never get anything like this n need the inspiration n our guidance the most. All King’s n Queens 👑. It’s our 2nd year doing it and I intend to do it every year til I die and even after that. Mental health panel tomorrow
