The controversy surrounding this year’s Super Bowl Halftime show has paid off in a big way for several charities.

Right before last month’s performance, headliners Maroon 5 said that they would give money to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Travis Scott also wrote a check to Van Jones’ Dream Corps.

Following in their footsteps, TMZ Sports says Big Boi is set to announce on Thursday that he is partnering with the NFL to donate $100,000 to the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change.

The Atlanta rapper revealed the delay was so he could properly decide where the money would be best spent, choosing somewhere close to home.
