Does Beyonce’s Website Violate the Americans With Disabilities Act
According to the report, a New York woman named Mary Conner is taking legal action against the singer’s Parkwood Entertainment company. Conner claims that Beyonce.com violates the Americans With Disabilities Act because it allegedly denies “equal access” to visually-impaired visitors.
In the suit, Conner claims to have “no vision whatsoever” and has asked the court for an injunction forcing Parkwood to revamp the site to comply with the ADA.

Conner’s attorney Dan Shaked further claims that his client “dreams” of one day experiencing a live performance from the Everything Is Love star. However, Conner has “encountered numerous barriers which limited her accessibility to the goods and services offered on the website.”
The online portal, which serves as a hub for all things Bey, features select images from the Grammy-winning artist’s most recent performances as well as an intimate look at her personal life. The photos, in particular, are being deemed by Shaked as having an “accessibility” problem because they lack any captions or a text equivalent.
Neither Beyonce nor Parkwood Entertainment have yet to publicly address the suit.
