You probably already know that Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj hit number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week with the Say So Remix.

Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé were right behind them at number 2 with the Savage Remix.

This is significant because it is the first time in chart history that two female-led rap tracks ranked in the top 2 slots.

As you may have heard, Nicki Minaj’s climb to number 1 was her first on the chart after 109 tries. It was the longest wait to get to number 1 based on total career entries.
