Before Astroworld Festival Kicks Off, We Got Some New Travis
Travis Scott is serving up an appetizer before he heads up his next album “Utopia”
On the eve of his Astroworld Festival, Travis dropped a pair of tracks, “Mafia” and “Escape Plan,” which he debuted at Rolling Loud Miami in July.
“Escape Plan” and “Mafia” are Scott’s first solo singles since “Franchise” in September 2020 and arrive ahead of his highly-anticipated fourth album Utopia.
Both new songs are foggy, atmospheric singsong trap bangers. They’re fully within Travis Scott’s wheelhouse, but if you’re into foggy and atmospheric singsong trap bangers, they’re fairly effective.
