2 Chainz Hops On A Remix Of Arian Grande’s “7 Rings”
After 2 Chainz called out Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings” for being very similar to his track “I Spend It” — and fans agreed — she decided to have the rapper hop on a remix of the track.
Ariana released the “7 Rings” remix Friday, with a brand new verse by 2 Chainz. “made a new friend,” she tweeted, along with a link to the song.
2 Chainz raps on the track, “My ideas are priceless, I know I’m the nicest/I knew you would like this, I must be psychic/ I’m from the streets, baby, I’m nothing like them/ She’s sweet in the day, but freaky when night come.”

He had previously pointed out the “7 Rings” similarities on Instagram. The “I Spend It” lyrics include the line, “It’s mine/I spend it,” sung similarly to how Ariana sings, “I want it/I got it.”
The “7 Rings” video also features a pink house that looks similar to 2 Chainz’s famous Pink Trap House.
“7 Rings,” which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, is on Ariana’s thank u, next album, due February 8.
