Ari Lennox claims that come next year, she’ll be taking a break from the concert stage.

Tuesday night, the “BMO” songstress shared with fans on Twitter that she’ll no longer do any live performances, in order to protect her “sweet and genuine energy.”

Lennox wrote in a since-deleted thread of tweets:

She continued, “I’m too thorough to be playing with my energy. People don’t know what happens behind the scenes.”

The first lady of Dreamville then went on to imply that a set of “sick individuals” were preventing her from performing, due to their “traumatizing” nature.

“There are parents raising demonic entities who are out here traumatizing people,” Lennox added.

The Shea Butter Baby vocalist’s rant arrives at a rather interesting time, considering she just did a headlining set at H.E.R.‘s inaugural Lights On Festival and is set to join Lizzo on the road as a supporting act for the North American leg of her Cuz I Love You Too Tour.
