Fans got to know Amine through his breakout hit, “Caroline,” the fun-loving song brought attention to the Ethiopian and Eritrean-born rapper and now Amine is grabbing attention again with his second full-length album “Limbo.”

The 26-year-old is showing his growth and maturity with the first song on the album, “Burden,” which talks about minority and celebrity deaths.

Amine highlights the death of Kobe Bryant in the song which impacted the rapper and his associate’s life in a profound way, “Like he died and I feel like a lot of my innocence and being a young person died with Kobe,” Amine’s collaborator says on the song.

Features on the album also show the growth of Amine, with R&B legend leading, Charlie Wilson being featured on a song called “Roots,” Vince Staples, JID, and Summer Walker also make appearances on “Limbo.”
