Tyler The Creator Has Crazy Accusations Against American Airlines

American Airlines is denying Tyler, the Creator’s claim that he’s on its ”no-fly” list.

Tyler tweeted Thursday:

HA IM ON @AmericanAir NO FLY TERRORIST LIST 🤤 WHAT THE HELL DID I DO

The company initially replied:

We’d like to look into this. Send us a quick DM with your record locator.

A spokesperson for the airline later told Billboard, “American does not have a terrorism watch list. That list is controlled by the FBI. But since Tyler, the Creator, is flying with us today and was on one of our flights, the tweet is not accurate.”

As previously reported, the controversial rapper from L.A. has faced problems with traveling in the past. In 2015, he was banned from the U.K. because his lyrics were deemed violent and homophobic. The ban was lifted this year and he performed in London in September.

In 2014, Tyler was banned from New Zealand for the same reason. The ban was rescinded in August; he’s scheduled to perform in the country in January 2020.
