A$AP Rocky Teases New Single “Babushka”
Soon after kicking off his Injured Generation tour, A$AP Rocky gifted fans with a preview of new music.
During his Minneapolis tour stop, the Harlem-bred rapper teased a snippet of his new record “Babushka” for a lively crowd. In fan-captured footage, the bass-heavy track receives a good reception from the audience as Rocky excitedly parades around the stage.
“If you got a babushka, put that s*** on right now,” he advises the sea of fans.
Late last year, the TESTING star made headlines when he sporting a Gucci silk scarf over his head, which made him look like an old woman or, as the internet put it while roasting him, “a grandma.” It appears that’s what’s inspired “Babushka,” which is Russian for both “grandma,” and for that kind of scarf.
Rocky is slated to continue his trek with a performance in Toronto tomorrow.
