A$AP Rocky Arrested In Sweden After Street Brawl
A$AP Rocky was arrested late Tuesday night in Sweden on suspicion of assault, Billboard reports. The arrest came after a video emerged that appeared to show the rapper confronting a man in the street on Sunday night in Stockholm, and then throwing that man several feet.
After the video appeared online, Rocky posted two videos on Instagram, which he said showed the man in question following and harassing him and his entourage. In the video, two men are following the rapper and his bodyguard, who repeatedly tell them to go away.
“SO A FEW DRUG ADDICTS ARE NOT MY FANS, WE DONT KNOW THESE GUYS AND WE DIDNT WANT TROUBLE, THEY FOLLOWED US FOR 4 BLOCKS, AND THEY WERE SLAPPING GIRLS’ BUTTS WHO PASSED, GIVE ME A BREAK,” Rocky captioned the first clip.
In another video, one of the men hits the bodyguard with a set of headphones, which the bodyguard then grabs and throws on the ground.

“HITS SECURITY IN FACE WITH HEADPHONES THEN FOLLOW US,” read the caption on that video. In the comments, Rocky added, “IM INNOCENT. THEY TRYNNA ARREST ME OUT HERE NOW, SMH.”
Rock also posted a photo of himself giving the finger, with the caption, “STOCKHOLM.”
According to Billboard, the Stockholm Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that a request had been made for A$AP Rocky’s arrest, but no other information was available.
Rocky was in Sweden to perform at the Smash Festival in Stockholm.
