A New Food Cart Home

Portland Ore – The Alder Street food cart pod, which was recently evicted to make way for a Ritz-Carlton hotel, has secured a new location along the North Park Blocks.
About 30 carts will move next to the curbs on Southwest Park Avenue, 8th Avenue and Ankeny Street at the southern end of the North Park Blocks.

There may be partial or full street closures to accommodate the food stands. Plans say seating may be provided on the park space between the carts. We call that Ankeny Square.
