2 Chainz Tapped Lebron James To Assist On His New Album
2 Chainz has certified his baller status, by recruiting Lebron James as an A&R on his forthcoming album Rap or Go to the League.
Tuesday, the Atlanta phenom announced the highly-anticipated project will arrive on March 1. He also announced on Twitter that the NBA star assisted in overseeing the artistic development of the album.
2 Chainz wrote:
It’s been quite the journey to get here. All night studio sessions, reflecting, & opening up on these records or as I call it therapy! He continued by describing the LP as his “each one teach one body of work” and a celebration of black excellence.
The announcement was also coupled with a video trailer, which teased the arrival of an exclusive interview between 2 Chainz and James via Apple Music.
Rap or Go to the League serves as the “It’s a Vibe” lyricist’s fifth studio album as well as a follow up to his 2017 effort Pretty Girls Like Trap Music. Last year, 2 Chainz gifted fans with two EPs: The Play Don’t Care Who Makes It and Hot Wings Are a Girl’s Best Friend.
